This web site has been created as a result of suggestions coming from the fourth Authenticity into Action conference held by COMENSUS at the University of Central Lancashire in Preston, Lancashire in November 2012.

The purpose of the conference was to provide a forum for service user groups and those involved in service user groups throughout the UK to foster the growth of these groups in Higher Education in the UK and further afield.

At the conference, it was proposed that COMENSUS establish a website to provide a meeting place for service user and carer groups in higher education establishments in the UK and further afield, to bring together relevant and current academic research and best practice in the service.  This is the resulting website.  We hope you will enjoy browsing the site and be stimulated to join us in encouraging the involvement of service user groups throughout higher education.
